“Those who have a strong sense of love and belonging have the courage to be imperfect.”
~ Brené Brown
Connection at home creates the foundation from which we can express our natural care for others, solve problems, and treat others with respect and dignity. Join us for a conversation with our founder and Executive Director Marjie Longshore and team member Lara Ratkovic. This one-hour session is designed to help you learn powerful ways to connect with your child. You will gain new strategies for building a strong foundation at home using The 4 Crucial Cs, with a special focus on Connect.
What are The 4 Crucial Cs?
Alfred Adler, the grandfather of Individual Psychology, identified four core needs that all people experience and strive to fulfill as they go through life. Renowned psychologists and parent education authors Betty Lou Bettner and Amy Lew used the principles first put forth by Adler to develop these core needs into The 4 Crucial Cs: Connect, Capable, Count, & Courage.
In this workshop, you will learn why each C matters, and how to build that first crucial C: Connect.
