Foundations of Family Leadership Learning Lab

Tuesdays, January 11 - March 3

11:30 am - 1:30 pm EST

Join us in our brand new Foundations Lab

to engage at a deeper level with the work of Adlerian theory and Individual Psychology

This small class setting is available for anyone who has participated in at least one core program with Family Leadership Center (Foundations of Family Leadership). We will dive deeply into the curriculum of our Foundations class, mirroring the usual class format.

The Foundations Lab gives each participant an opportunity to be a thought partner in this important work by assuming one or more of the following roles

  • Future or prospective guide: The Foundations Lab will serve as guide training for anyone interested in becoming a guide now or in the future. In this role, you may practice leading sections of the core curriculum. Participation in The Foundations Lab is an essential training component for anyone leading classes now or in the future at Family Leadership Center.
  • Thought partner on new programs and products: The Foundations Lab will serve as inspiration for future products and courses designed by Family Leadership Center. In this role, you may bring a focus to designing and refining offerings (books, online courses, kits, etc.) created by the newly minted Family Leadership Press.
  • Family Leadership Center brand steward: The Foundations Lab will serve as a model for what an “FLC Class” is that makes it different and special. In this role, you may help us continue to define our differentiator and make sure that we’re staying true to the Four Crucial Cs. We will explore what makes us who we are and how we can preserve and expand our mission.
  • Fellow parent: The Foundation Lab’s primary agenda, as with any of our courses, is to serve our community of engaged and supportive parents. In this role, you may continue to work with the material and find additional ways to incorporate it into your family and with the children in your life.

The Foundations Lab is an opportunity to have many perspectives and voices in the room together, engaging with The Foundations of Family Leadership curriculum. Our hope is that this format will enrich each of us as participants as we strive to expand and enrich the work itself.
